LOMBOK, the upmarket furniture retailer, has realised £3.5m in a fundraising led by Pi Capital. As part of the deal, Will Hobhouse, the retail entrepreneur, has been appointed as chairman of Lombok.
The fresh backing will help to finance the chain’s growth from nine stores to more than 20 over the next three years. Lombok’s management also contributed to the fundraising, while Barclays provided debt.
