Red-M Promotes Total Airspace Management at The Wireless Event 2006

Red-M, the leading provider of services and products for managing wireless infrastructure, will take the stage to promote the concept of Total Airspace Management, at this year’s Wireless Event, 17th and 18th May, at Olympia London.

Red-M’s Chief Technology Officer, Simon Saunders, will be speaking during the Enterprise Wireless Networking Seminar on 18th May. His presentation “BAA Case Study: Total Airspace Management for Airports” will take a detailed look at the concept of managing airspace in order to better harness wireless technologies for competitive advantage, more efficient operations and increased system flexibility.

Simon was originally the CEO of CDS before the company merged with Red-M to form the Red-M Group. He has authored more than 100 papers on the subject of wireless technologies, including the book Antennas and Propagation for Wireless Communication Systems. He has also invented some 15 patents for wireless innovations and has worked for leading mobile companies Philips, Ascom and Motorola.

Red-M has implemented wireless systems in more than 300 buildings throughout the UK, including the busiest airport (Heathrow) and the highest building (Canary Wharf), as well as shopping malls, manufacturing facilities and stadia.
