Syrinix host British Water Winter Forum 2015

Syrinix was last week delighted to host the 2015 British Water Winter Forum.

The focus of the meeting was the topical theme of Smart Networks, with a critical look into latest developments from Syrinix CEO James Dunning. Andy Smith, Regional Optimisation manager – Anglian Water, then gave a view on what they expect their networks to look like in the future (AMP6 and beyond), including the increasing role of clearly defined targets. Alistair Moseley from J Murphy & Sons Ltd visualised the future of Smart Sewers and gave opinion on the challenges facing that section of the industry.

Last but by no means least, David Aarons, of intelligent energy efficient lighting and communications solutions EnLight, then shed some fascinating light on the “Internet of Things”, which looked at the implications of the increasingly interconnected world.

James Dunning, CEO, Syrinix said: “We are delighted to be hosting the first UK Forum British Water meeting of 2015. The subject of Smart Networks is a relevant and debatable one within the industry and offers growth opportunity for businesses to work with the utilities with the common goal of improving efficiency.”

Paul Mullord UK Director of British Water said: “Our forum meetings offer a great opportunity for our member companies to come together, network and discuss current industry issues. Today we have received some direct insight into where the industry is heading and look forward to extremely interesting times ahead.”
