TISS Security Systems have won orders for their GPS vehicle and trailer tracking systems with Exel, Tombs Transport, NCP and the Ministry of Defence.
Tombs Transport have fit the Bronze solution, costing from £1.50 a week, to locate their vehicles, trailers and other assets if they are stolen or required for Service and MOT. The system is battery powered, lasting up to 5 years and is mounted inside the vehicle on brackets. It can also track the asset, even it is inside a building or the vehicle is inside a workshop.
Exel and NCP have recently fitted the TISS Silver GPS solution in order to live track their high-risk vehicles and plot the routes they have taken, report their utilisation and see when they have gone off-route. The system costs from only £4 a week.
The Ministry of Defence have chosen to fit the God solution to their support vehicles. TISS Gold GPS is an internet based Fleet management system, which is fully configurable to a customer’s processes and can produce bespoke reports to help make logistic operations more efficient. The Gold solution can also be integrated with a customer’s current scheduling and back-office software and can be linked to a variety of sensors around the vehicle, including Canbus and Temperature sensors.
