Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort has officially launched its mobile casino app in New Jersey, with the Gamesys-powered offering now available for iPhone and iPad devices.
Now available in the Apple App Store, the offering has been released under the Tropicana.AC brand name featuring a selection of slots, table games and a $30,000 Community Jackpot, similar to the jackpots available on the Gamesys-powered desktop site.
The games include IGT’s Cleopatra, Wolf Run and Kitty Glitter slots, as well as blackjack and the supplier’s video poker titles, Game King Jacks, Better Poker, and Game King Bonus Poker.
Tropicana Entertainment chief executive and president Tony Rodio said the mobile gaming launch was an extension of its “something for everything” approach to gaming and entertainment.
“Our goal is to offer people a little break and a little fun whenever they want it, wherever they are in the state,” Rodio explained.
By playing on the app users can accumulate Trop Points, reward points which can be converted to cash and redeemed for use online.
Tropicana’s online gaming offering allows players to set deposit and spending limits, session times and cooling-off periods to help ensure users gamble responsibly.
The launch further strengthens the operator’s iGaming offering in New Jersey, with the Tropicanacasino.com site going live in November, followed by Virgincasino.com in January.
The company partnered with Gamesys to develop its online gaming offering, with the Jackpotjoy operator set to launch a proprietary poker product in the coming months.
