Bac2 has produced ElectroPhen™, the first large scale, commercially available electrically conductive polymer for use in fuel cell bipolar plates. The ElectroPhen™ polymer is inherently conductive, cures at room temperature and moulds easily. When used in a composite form ElectroPhen™ is a cost-effective solution for Bipolar Plate manufacture. ElectroPhen™ represents a major leap forward in reducing fuel cell cost and complexity with polymer-based electrodes. Developed by leading Polymer chemist Dr. Graham Murray, ElectroPhen™ has the potential to yield significant benefits in fuel cell design and use.
