Hindawi helps to maximize visibility and readership of authors’ work through partnership with Kudos

Kudos, the award-winning service for accelerating research impact through strategic communications management, is delighted to announce a new partnership with Hindawi Limited, one of the world’s largest fully open access publishers. Kudos’ platform for explaining research in plain language, and its service for enabling researchers to share, track and evaluate their research communications, are in close strategic alignment with Hindawi’s commitment to putting the researcher first, and making science easy to find, share and understand.

“Hindawi has signed up with Kudos as part of our strategy to put the researcher at the heart of Hindawi and to ensure the work we publish on behalf of the academic community can be shared, read and understood on numerous platforms and devices. This partnership will increase the distribution and reach of our content, and allow many more researchers to access and understand papers published by Hindawi authors,” explains Sarah Greaves, Chief Publishing Officer at Hindawi. “Kudos is a recognized tool for public engagement, and this fits perfectly with our plans to serve the academic community with improved author, editor and researcher tools and services.”

“We’re excited about being able to further support researchers in sharing their research through our partnership with Kudos. We strive to put the researcher first and so being able to help them share their research as best they can fits well with our ethos,” adds Mathias Astell, Director of Marketing at Hindawi. “Additionally, the insights Kudos can provide about research communication more broadly will enhance the way we promote research published in Hindawi journals and ensure we provide the best guidance to authors on how they can help their research be widely read and understood.”

“I’m delighted to welcome Hindawi to the Kudos community,” concludes Colin Caveney, Head of Publisher Business Development at Kudos. “A substantial number of their authors have already been using Kudos’ free service to manage communications of their work; they will now benefit from more streamlined workflows and more data against which they can evaluate the success of their efforts.”
