Site Intelligence Appoints Peter Ryan to Chief Executive Officer

Leader in Multi-Channel Customer Intelligence taps technology veteran to spearhead rapid global expansion, client focus and R&D investment.
The Board of Directors of Site Intelligence Limited today announced that Peter Ryan was recently appointed Chief Executive Officer, after previously joining the firm as a Board Director in May 2010. He will lead the company through aggressive expansion plans that include entry into the North American market, adoption of a greater clientfocused operating strategy, and accelerated investment in its research and development portfolio.
Ryan was previously Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of InnaPhase Corporation, a company he founded in Europe in 1997 and subsequently expanded into North America to become the world’s largest provider of laboratory information management systems. After a series of acquisitions and venture capital investments, he orchestrated the sale of InnaPhase to Thermo Electron Corporation (NYSE:TMO) in 2004, one of the largest deals in that industry sector. In 2002, Ryan was named ‘Best CEO Under Age 40’ by the US Eastern Technology Council and named as a winner of the 2002 ‘Philadelphia Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Awards’, honoring his commitment to professional excellence and community involvement.
Speaking from the company’s European Headquarters at an Oxford Science Park, Ryan said, “I am very pleased to join and lead the talented team at Site Intelligence. We have an outstanding roster of blue-chip client relationships and a powerful portfolio of data integration and analytics technology that offers significant advantages over competitive products. I expect the additional leadership and financial resources we are putting in place will greatly enhance the products, services and value we deliver to our clients, while also accelerating our growth and expansion plans.”
Ryan’s appointment as CEO follows the addition of three new Board Directors earlier this year, including Chairman Harry Wallaesa, founder and CEO of The W Group and previously President of Safeguard Scientifics (NYSE:SFE), George Samenuk, retired Chairman and CEO of McAfee (NYSE: MFE) and David Reibstein, Professor of Marketing at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
“Peter Ryan is an outstanding addition to the Site Intelligence management team. He has a proven track record of success at leading and growing technology companies for the benefit of clients and shareholders alike,” said Wallaesa.
“We expect our global expansion and investment plans to progress very deliberately under his leadership.” “We are delighted to have an accomplished business leader like Peter to spearhead our aggressive growth plans for Site Intelligence. His expertise in successfully expanding European businesses into the North American market figures prominently into our strategic plans,” added Professor Reibstein.
