Gamesys ranks highly in The Sunday Times Tech Track 100

For the second year running, leading gaming and entertainment company, Gamesys, owner of www.jackpotjoy.com, sits highly on the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100, published on Sunday the 30th of September 2007.

Following their number one position of 2006, Gamesys is ranked at an impressive 28, reflecting Jackpotjoy’s incredible sustained growth over recent years.

The Microsoft Tech Track 100 is compiled by Fast Track and ranks Britain’s fastest growing unquoted technology firms by sales. Gamesys’ position reflects their transition from a small online operator to one of the giants in online gaming, due largely to the success of its soft gaming website, Jackpotjoy.com, which specialises in bingo, instant-win and casino games.

Noel Hayden, Managing Director of Gamesys, commented:

“We are all extremely proud that our continued growth and success has been recognised by the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 once again. Since achieving the number one position last year, we’ve been working hard to develop our various products for an ever expanding base of over one and a half million UK players.

2007 has been a very exciting time for us. Our talented technology team have developed all our software which currently handles over 16 cash bets per second, a staggering 100 free bets per second and over £1 billion in stakes on an annualised basis. We have launched several new games including The Price Is Right Bingo and our first TV advertising campaign. With more great games on the way, we look forward to the future.

Ranking so highly in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 list again is just one of Gamesys’ several recent accolades, having been named Bingo Operator of the Year in the 2007 Egaming Review trade awards and reaching position 2 in the Hitwise Top 10 Websites list of April to June 2007. With the support of a great team of people and a very loyal group of players, we plan to be one of the world’s leading gaming and entertainment companies for many years to come.”
