Red-M Sponsors The Wireless Event

Red-M, the leading provider of services and products for managing wireless infrastructure, is sponsoring this year’s The Wireless Event at Olympia on 17 – 18 May 2006.

Red-M provides software products and services for the wireless market and designs, implements and manages wireless networks across the spectrum of commercially used radio frequencies for blue chip clients. The company was formed in April 2005 by the merger of Cellular Design Services (CDS), a wireless consulting services provider, and Red-M Communications, a vendor of wireless security probes and monitoring software.

Regular exhibitors at the annual conference and exhibition, this year Red-M is the show’s official Airspace Management Sponsor and the company’s Chief Technology Officer, Simon Saunders, will be presenting during the Enterprise Wireless Networking Seminar on 18 May.

Andrew Barker, Chief Marketing Officer of Red-M Group, said “The Wireless Event is a key event in the wireless calendar and we are pleased to be a part of the show. The rapid increase in the use of wireless communications in recent months has seen major changes in the industry, which makes this year’s show even more interesting.

“We are also looking forward to further promoting Total Airspace Management and the services and products that support it, to help more customers make their airspace pay. The increasing use of wireless makes the airspace in buildings a business asset that must be tapped.”

Red-M has implemented wireless systems in more than 300 buildings throughout the UK, including the busiest airport (Heathrow) and the highest building (Canary Wharf), as well as shopping malls, manufacturing facilities and stadia. The company recently completed private equity investment of £5.4m. “This funding will enable Red-M to accelerate the development of our TAM services and products”, said Dave Richmond, Chief Executive Officer, Red-M Group.
