TISS Limited are delighted that their TankSafe ‘Impregnable’ Fuel Security & Safety Device won the Fleet Safety Product Award at this year’s Brake ‘Fleet Safety Forum’ Awards.
Accepting the award, Managing Director Ryan Wholey stated: ‘I am thrilled to be collecting such a prestigious award. The award is testament to all of the staff at TISS who have worked so hard in developing this product over the past few years’.
The Awards are now in their 11th year and TISS joined a long line of previous highly renowned winners of the Fleet Safety Product Award which includes Michelin Tyres and Brigade Electronics. TISS’ award is made all the more special coming in the category that received the highest number of applications from the 11 awards given out on the evening.
The TankSafe ‘Impregnable’ is completely unique and differs from basic ‘anti-siphons’ due to its float-valve which locks off when the tank is full, thereby preventing any fuel from being siphoned or spilt. Coupled with this, the device incorporates a patent-pending ‘Anti-Roll Mechanism’ that in the event of a Truck overturning significantly diminishes the amount of fuel that can seep out to.
Many of the UK’s largest Truck Fleets are fitting the TankSafe ‘Impregnable’ primarily due to the unique safety and environmental benefits. TISS’ customer list includes DHL, Tesco, Sainsburys and Maritime Transport. Additionally, the device is available from all MAN, Mercedes, Volvo and Iveco Truck Dealerships.
