Biffa Waste, one of the leading players in the UK waste management sector, has recently fitted its fleet with TISS’ TankSafe ‘Impregnable’ fuel security and safety device. The ‘Impregnable’ devices were fitted to assist Biffa in its commitment to safeguard the environment and improve health and safety.
TISS’ TankSafe ‘Impregnable’ not only prevents any siphoning and skimming, but alleviates the danger of diesel spills, which every year endanger all road users’ lives and jeopardizes aquatic ecosystems if fuel enters water courses. Like any successful invention, the mechanism behind the extraordinary Impregnable‘s performances is simple: its float-valve allows fuel to flow into the tank, but it locks off once the tank is full, protecting the fuel completely.
